took me forever to figure out the dash jump idea. I think the gravity and absolute chaos of it all are perfect.
I'm kinda curious about what it would be like if the goal was up instead of down.
could make for an interesting jump king/getting over it vibe.
I decided to make the goal to go downward because I felt that the uncontrollable tumbling could help the player move downwards and which could be fun and lead to some cool moments.
Making the goal going up is a very interesting suggestion! It would make the game more frustrating, but I feel like it could work in the same way getting over it does. I think I'd need to modify the movement slightly to make moving up more bearable, but it could make for a cool game.
I also added a bit more tutorial text to make the dash jump more obvious, because it seems like a lot of people had trouble with it.

Sweet idea for the no death state - helps keep the flow.
I had a lot of fun manipulating the AI.
